Do I have a bird's nest in my chimney?


If you notice sticks and twigs falling down your chimney or birds coming and going from the top of your chimney, you could well have a nest or the beginnings of a nest. I can use a camera to check for sure. Its important to remove any birds nests from your chimney as they will be a fire hazard. This can only be done September and February due to nesting season. 



Removing a bird's nest


This can be a difficult and time consuming task. It takes on average an hour to remove a nest but can take much longer. 
It costs £100 for the first hour and £50 an hour there after. Once the debris is removed it will be left with the home owner to dispose of. 



How do I keep birds from nesting in my chimney?


The quickest and simplest way to stop birds nesting is to put a cowl on your chimney pot. Pricing and suitability of cowl will vary.
